Mulder Health Care Facility is looking for reliable volunteers who would like to assist with activities during the day with older adults or do some on your own if desired! Recreation Therapy has programming Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and Sat-Sun 2pm-4:30pm. We are looking for volunteers to assist with activities during any of those times and are flexible to fit your schedule. Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist in activities such as table games, patio time, reading groups, crafts, musical programming, movies, exercise groups, painting nails, wheelchair walks, and much more! We also always need assistance with sanitizing supplies/materials or prepping activities in the Recreation Therapy office if interested.
We require all volunteers to do a application, background check, short orientation and have a recent TB test(can be done at our facility) before starting. Join us at Mulder in providing happiness, fresh air, and joy to our residents this summer!
