Who We Are
Mulder Health Care Facility is a skilled nursing facility in West Salem, WI since 1963. Our aim is to treat each individual with the honor, respect, and reverence that is fitting to his/her dignity as a human being. We believe the best approach is with love, kindness, gentleness, and patience.
MHCF requires all volunteers to do a short orientation, have a recent TB test (can be done at our facility), and a background check. Since we require these things to be done, we prefer our volunteers to at least have a time commitment of around 3 months or equivalent in the frequency of your hours to make it worth your time and ours.
How Volunteers Help
We are a skilled nursing facility that opens our doors to rehabilitation, post-operation/extended illness, or long-term care residents. We aim to enrich our residents' lives by providing opportunities for various activities and leisure interests such as crafting, reading out loud groups, one to one visits, table games, exercise groups, and much more! We welcome dependable volunteers to our facility to assist with these activities to make wonderful memories with our residents.
