Looking for reliable volunteers who would like to assist with activities during the day with older adults. Recreation Therapy has programming Mon-Fri 9am-5pm and Sat-Sun 2pm-4:30pm. We are looking for volunteers to assist with activities during any of those times and are flexible to fit your schedule. Volunteers will have the opportunity to assist in activities such as table games, reading groups, musical programming, exercise groups, painting nails, and much more! We also always need assistance with sanitizing supplies/materials or prepping activities in the Recreation Therapy office.
We require all volunteers to do a short orientation, have a recent TB test(can be done at our facility), and a background check. Since we require these things to be done, we prefer our volunteers to at least have a time commitment of around 3 months or equivalent in the frequency of your hours to make it worth your time and ours.
