The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse is pleased to announce the 10th Annual Hunger Forum on Thursday, May 30, 2019 from 9:30 am-12:30pm at the La Crosse Public Library Main Branch.
The Hunger Forum gathers area individuals interested in learning more about current issues and the steps we can take to alleviate hunger. This year’s forum will include “Food For Today”, a poverty simulation where individuals will learn first-hand what it is like to experience poverty in the state of Wisconsin. This interactive activity will bridge the gap from misconception to understanding. The 2019 forum is in partnership with The Hunger Task Force of Milwaukee and the Hunger Relief Federation of Wisconsin.
