The Hunger Task Force of La Crosse

As the only FREE & LOCAL food bank within a 90-mile radius, the Hunger Task Force of La Crosse is committed to fighting food insecurity in our region through collaboration, compassion, and community-powered programs.

Our mission is clear and urgent:
“To be a voice for the hungry by harvesting community resources to alleviate hunger.”
This mission guides everything we do — from food recovery to garden harvests to senior support — ensuring that no one in our area has to go without access to healthy, nourishing food.

We need volunteers to help in our warehouse (mostly to sort foods we've received), drivers & riders to pick up and deliver foods, and in our garden.
