Join a group of about 10 people as we assist the Coulee Region Humane Society with their Doggy Day out program. We'll help give adoptable dogs a break from the shelter, carefully listening to staff instructions for safety and dog development. We'll also do deep cleaning and organizing of donations/supplies as avaialble.
Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting stained or dirty and dress in layers - we'll be traveling between indoor and outdoor conditions to engage animals safely.
Timeline:
9a-9:30a = Registration and light breakfast, Viterbo Nursing Center, 1st Floor Lobby and Room 196.
9:30am = Welcome/Kick-Off, Nursing Center 196
10a-1pm = Service at various projects/locations
1pm-2p = Lunch, reflection, and prizes; Viterbo Nursing Building: First Floor Lobby and Room 195.
