Cia Siab, Inc. is hosting an indoor Rice Pantry on Friday, March 3rd, 2023, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm or (until supplies last). We will distribute a 50 lb Martin Jasmine Rice and fresh vegetables from the Hunger Task Force to families in the community. We are looking for volunteers to help us run this event smoothly.
Setting up is starting at 9:00 am, and clean/pack up by 2:00 pm.
Volunteer responsibilities:
- Set up
- Language support - interpreter
- Rice loaders - we will have wagons to transport food and rice to vehicles. Families may need assistance loading the 50 lb rice into their car.
- Food Packing - bagging produce
- Clean up
