Our Trivia Night event brings together teams of 5 to 10 participants made up of family, friends, community members, co-workers, business owners or just about anyone looking to have an enjoyable and challenging night filled with brain teasing questions, entertainment, good food and prizes. Trivia Night offers 10 rounds of clean, healthy, competition with questions from a variety of genres and fields of interest, intertwined with fast paced contests and competitions to help players win extra points and terrific prizes. This event regularly sells-out, with over 300 guests attending.
Proceeds raised from that evening will support Families First mission of providing empowering and respectful services to residents of Monroe County facing everyday life and financial challenges. Families First provides a variety of support services to individuals and families in need including resource/referral information, case management, budget consultation, homeless prevention, utility assistance and basic needs such as clothing and infant supplies. All assistance provided by Families First are confidential and free.
We are in need of volunteers to help promote the event as well as helping on the day of the event with welcoming guests, signing in teams, selling drink tickets, and handing out drinks/food. The event is roughly 5 hours and so volunteers can expect to be at the event for up to 6 hours.
