GROW La Crosse: Join a group of about 10 people as we support a local organization that helps connect children to healthy food through learning, discovery, and exploration. This group will carpool to Summit Elementary to assist with weeding, harvesting produce, and preparing for the fall/winter season.
This group will carpool or have transportation provided. Wear gear from your school if you're able and items you aren't afraid to get dirty/wet!
Please review details on our initiative page about our day together. Project confirmation emails will be sent to everyone by the end of the day on Thursday November 3rd.
Timeline:
9a-9:30a = Registration and light breakfast, Viterbo Nursing Center, 1st Floor Lobby and Room 196.
9:30am = Welcome/Kick-Off, Nursing Center 196
10a-1pm = Service at various projects/locations
1pm-2p = Lunch, reflection, and raffle prizes; Viterbo Nursing Building: First Floor Lobby and Room 195.
