River to Ridge 5 Mile Run/Walk: This challenging trek starts at the Mississippi River in Riverside Park, winds through the La Crosse River Marsh trails, and leads to a lush, green view of the Mississippi River Valley from Hixon Forest’s bluff top. A great way to experience many of La Crosse’s trails and diverse landscape! This event supports WisCorps.
When: Saturday May 20, 2017, race begins at 9am with registration at 8:15am. Volunteers needed 7:30am-11am day of plus volunteer opportunities on May 18 & 19 before the event!
Where: Race starts at northeast side of Riverside Park near visitor center and ends at bluff top (Hwy. FA across from weather station)
After the Race: After the race, participants and volunteers will enjoy a bluff top celebration with food, refreshments, and live music. A bus will take participants back to Riverside Park beginning at 11am.
