The Women Build Intern will experience the ins and outs of event planning and build strong project management skills as they help organize the details of the 3-day volunteer and community event. They will work on marketing, fundraising, and volunteer experience. As availability allows, there may be additional events to assist with.
- Gain direct event-planning experience by helping with all the details for the Women Build 3-day event and potentially “Women in Construction” week.
- Work alongside Volunteer Coordinator to create excellent experience while maintaining safety standards for all volunteers.
- Communicate with volunteers, press, and donors throughout the process. · Create digital and print marketing materials.
We can accommodate anywhere from 5 to 10 hours a week, more during the first two weeks of March. Ideally this intern would be available for the following 2026 events: Women in Construction March 5-6 and Women Build March 12-14. This is an unpaid position which might occasional travel.
