Committee that solicits donations, applies for grants, etc. Members of the fundraising committee will help raise money for the operation of the rescue.
Responsibilities:
- Brainstorming fundraising ideas
- Scheduling fundraising activities
- Recruiting volunteers to help committee members at the events
- Recruiting sponsors to subsidize the various events
- Reporting the outcome of the events to the board of directors
Qualifications:
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Passionate about animal welfare
- Previous experience in a similar role is encouraged but not required
