Who We Are

Since 2017, the non-profit Everybody Bikes has provided bicycles, maintenance education, and on-the-road training to under-resourced individuals here in La Crosse. Many of these people have no means of transportation to get to a job or the grocery store. They are referred to us from organizations like the Salvation Army, Project Proven at Western Technical College, La Crosse County, and many others. Through its programming, Everybody Bikes empowers dozens of community-members every year.

How Volunteers Help

Everybody Bikes is seeking volunteer-partners who are willing to help refurbish (clean and/or repair) donated bicycles. No bike-wrenching knowledge required, but you can build these skills with us! Volunteers also can help teach bicycle maintenance and road-riding classes if desired. We generally can work around your schedule, but the education portion is scheduled for Friday mornings during warmer months. Be a part of changing someone's life through sustainable, reliable, inexpensive transportation!
