Hamilton Elementary: Join a group of 10-15 people as we assist educators with tasks like cutting, laminating, cleaning classrooms and facilities, organizing play areas, preparing lesson plan materials, etc.

First Teen Clothes Closet: Join a group of 4-6 people as we carpool to First Teen Clothes Closet on the North side of La Crosse.  Located within Trinity Lutheran Church, we’ll be organizing donations, updating inventory, deep cleaning, and supporting Patty and the FTCC efforts in any way we can!

This group will carpool together.  Wear gear from your school if you're able!

Join a group of about 10 people as we assist the Habitat for Humanity in their progress of a local construction.  Whether it's demolition of old drywall, installing bathroom fixtures, or taking off siding - our group will be trained with tools safely to learn and complete progress on the job at hand.  

Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting stained or dirty and dress in layers - we'll be traveling between indoor and outdoor conditions to engage the site safely.

Join this group of about 6 people as we visit one of Viterbo's closest partners.  

The Place of Grace provides fellowship, meals, resources, and support for anyone in need.  We'll be helping deep clean the house, prepare food/meals, organize the food pantry, and anything else needed.  Founded by Tom Thibodeau, the Place of Grace is a staple with our Franciscan values, rooted in Servant Leadership. 

Join a group of about 10 people as we assist the Habitat for Humanity at the local ReStore.  Whether it's moving furniture donations, organizing inventory, or helping staff/customers, our group will help with daily ReStore tasks while supporting any special projects staff have. 

Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting stained or dirty and dress in layers - we'll be traveling between indoor and outdoor conditions to engage the loading dock safely.

This group of about 20 people will help with setting up the rotary lights in Riverside Park! 

Transportation will be provided. 

GROW La Crosse: Join a group of about 10 people as we support a local organization that helps connect children to healthy food through learning, discovery, and exploration. 

Wear gear from your school if you're able and items you aren't afraid to get dirty/wet!

This group of about 25 people will the Mississippi Valley Conservancy.  We will be working on bluffs.  Our main initiative will be to cut sumac/buckthorn and other invasive species - while dabbing cut stumps with herbicide so they don't grow back with a vengeance.

People should wear old clothes of natural fibers (nylon jackets may get holes if we are burning brush), boots, gloves, and dress in layers. 

Transportation will be provided. 

Join a group of about 5 people as we work with Kathleen, the founder of the Little Heart Project.  We'll either be crocheting little hearts, finishing already-started hearts, or tagging finished hearts with information and inspirational messages.

FSPA Organic Garden and Greenhouse: Join a group of 20 people as we serve with the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.  We’ll take a bus to St Joseph’s Ridge where we’ll assist with harvesting produce both outside and in Jacoba’s Greenhouse.  Bring shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy and prepare to learn from Sister Lucy while soaking in the beauty and working hard on top of the ridge! 

Bus transportation provided. 

Wear gear from your school if you're able and dress in warm, waterproof layers you don't mind getting dirty! 

Led by the Viterbo Sustainability Club, join as we further progress on the Plastic Bag Upcycle Project.  No experience necessary! 

Karen and Viterbo students will guide participants as we work to:

1) Cut plastic bags into strips

2) Crochet & weave strips together into mats
