Volunteer: Become a wish granter in your area!Make-A-Wish® grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. From our humble beginnings with one boy’s wish to be a police officer, we have evolved to be one of the world’s leading children’s charities, serving children in every community in the United States and its territories. With the help of generous donors and more than 25,000 volunteers, Make-A-Wish grants a wish somewhere in the country every 38 minutes. A Wish Granter will meet with the child and his/her family to help determine the child’s most heartfelt wish while planning special enhancements throughout the wish process. Wish Granters work in teams of two or three alongside Make-A-Wish staff to ensure every eligible child’s wish comes true. We are in need of Wish Granters throughout the whole state of Wisconsin, especially in the Northern half of the state.
