October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Each year, New Horizons Shelter and Outreach Centers ties purple ribbons to trees along Main Street in La Crosse, beginning downtown and ending at Losey Blvd. The purple ribbons serve as a way to raise awareness, celebrate survivors, and remember victims of domestic abuse. If you are interested in helping our staff tie up the ribbons, please email volunteer@nhagainstabuse.org or call 608-791-2610 ext. 1301. We will meet at our La Crosse county Outreach Center at 12:00pm
