FCC is seeking one or more volunteers to provide childcare services to Outpatient client’s children while the client is receiving Outpatient Services.
- Play with, care for and talk to children of clients while the client is receiving Outpatient Services.
- Maintain a safe environment for the children - one that includes no violent play.
- Communicate with the client’s provider regarding on-going facility, program and child needs or concerns.
- Keep the playroom and childcare areas clean and organized.
- Act as a positive role model, particularly modeling and promoting non-violence and healthy interpersonal behaviors.
- Must be able to understand and follow FCC’s confidentiality policy and other policies and procedures.
- Abide by mandatory reporting laws.
- Document any behavioral or accidental incidents.
- Complete any required training.
Education, Training & Work Experience: Must be 21 years of age or older and have a minimum of high school diploma or the equivalent. Childcare experience preferred. Must pass a criminal background check; any crime against a person may disqualify you from consideration. Must be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification, CPR/First Aid certified preferred.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Basic knowledge of child development preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands: Indoor office environment predominantly. Physical demands could include occasional lifting, bending, twisting or reaching.
