Family & Children's Center's annual fundraiser is coming up on November 20th. An Evening in Monte Carlo is a high-end, elegant casino night. Attendees can come socialize, eat, play some casino games and support a great cause at the same time. The fundraiser supports FCC's Child Abuse Prevention programs here in La Crosse: Healthy Families and Stepping Stones.
We are looking for volunteer casino dealers. You do not need experience to be a dealer because our 'Pit Boss' will train you prior to the doors opening night of the event. You could deal black jack, poker, craps, roulette, or horse racing! The event is intended to be fun and casual, not following strict casino rules. Volunteers will work from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 pm. Training is from 5:30-6:30 p.m.; gaming tables are open from 6:30-8:30p.m. AND 8:45-10:00 p.m.; and take-down is from 10:00—10:30 p.m. Volunteers attend the event for free (tickets are regularly $65) and will receive a break to enjoy the food.
