Operation RiverWatch Volunteers:
- Please sign up for either 9:00pm-11:00pm, 11:00pm-1:00am or 1:00am-3:00am. Meet in Radisson Hotel lobby area five minutes prior to start of shift.
- Please enter on the Harborview Plaza entrance (Riverside Park entrance). You can park on the road in front of the Radisson or in the downtown parking ramps and will not receive citations for parking there while working.
- Pickup the Operation RiverWatch backpack from the Radisson Hotel front desk. This backpack includes safety vests and flashlights.
- Volunteers keep watch for potentially unsafe situations, providing redirection as necessary, and intervening as able. Volunteers are also encouraged to include La Crosse PD on any situations which may warrant further involvement.
All Oktoberfest Volunteers:
- Be on time for shift
- Do not consume any alcoholic beverages prior to or during your volunteer shift
- Report any problems or issues to your leader or officer assigned to 3rd Street Aid Station
- Be courteous and refrain from confrontations · Volunteers will wear high visibility vest provided
