Looking for Volunteers for this day long event- Volunteers will assist Inpatient Veterans to their various events (push wheelchair, walk along and guide a Veteran who uses a walker). Maps with locations of each event will be provided. Volunteers needed starting at 9:00am --can assist with whole day or half day. LUNCH PROVIDED.
5th Annual Central Wisconsin Hero Games
Celebrate the Competitive Spirit within the heart of all of our Military
personnel, both Veterans and those currently serving our country.
Friday, August 9
9:00 - 4:30 p.m.
13 Events offered: Archery, Cornhole, Hero Assault Obstacle Course, w/c Obstacle Course , Bocce Tournament, Bowling, Shuffle Board, Horse Shoes, “Closest to the Pin” Golf Competition, Table Tennis, Pickle Ball and more.
Most events will have a ambulatory and a wheelchair Division.
Whole Health Experiential Opportunities: Whole Health Coaching,
Healing Touch, Tai Chi, Mindfulness
Adaptive Adventures Expo:
Rock Climbing Wall and Cycling for all abilities.
LUNCH PROVIDED by the DAV for all participants 1130am-1pm
