In partnership with Walmart - La Crosse, we will be a running a Stuff the Bus event!
This event will take place on July 21st, 2023. From 6am-6pm, there will be a physical big yellow bus at the Southside Walmart. This bus will be a collection place for school supplies and shelter supplies! We are collecting school supplies for the Back2School events happening in August for our community learners! We are collecting shelter supplies to assist those who come to The Salvation Army through hygiene items, blankets, towels, feminine hygiene products, and more.
We need volunteers to help oversee the bus! Volunteers will help organize the items being donated on the bus (school supplies in one box, shelter items in another) and be there to say "thank you" to those donating! We will run 2-3 hour shifts from 6am-6pm. To sign up, please contact Willow at willow.pecha@usc.salvationarmy.org
