We are looking for volunteers for our UWL Reduce, Reuse, Reimagine Campus Move-Out May 12, 13, 14, 15, and 18!

We will be setting our "home base" in the Student Union table near Grilled It! Please report there at the beginning of each shift.

Volunteers will...

Spend time at the garage organizing items into their proper categories. Assist students/people with making donations, ensuring everything goes in the right place: broken electronics to dynamic recycling pile, usable items in garage, and trash in the dumpster. Maintain an inventory list2-3 Volunteers are needed at each garage, and we need an additional 2 volunteers to assist as "floaters"

The Reduce, Reuse, Reimagine Program at UWL aims to minimize waste and promote sustainable practices during campus move out events while enriching the surrounding local community. By implementing an effective waste diversion strategy, the program seeks to reduce the environmental impact of discarded items and encourage responsible consumer and disposal habits among the campus community. Through the donation of usable goods, it aims to provide resources to members of the UWL community, and to provide to local non-profits/charitable organizations.
