As part of UWL's ongoing efforts to measure community engagement, the offices of Institutional Research, Assessment and Planning and Community Engagement would like to identify the level of service/volunteerism performed by all of our employees. Your service to the community does not need to relate directly to your employment at UWL.
The UGetConnected platform is a resource to help you find volunteer opportunities. You're also welcome to build your volunteer resume by including service you perform that is not listed on this platform. When entering volunteer hours not listed on this platform, please give a one-sentence description about the service you performed.
You are invited to include all service that meets these criteria:
- Your volunteer service benefits an off campus non-profit, business or civic organization
- Your volunteer service may take place on campus, but the service must benefit an off campus organization
- You did not receive payment for your volunteer service (Local elected public officials who receive a stipend may include their service. Please answer the prompted question indicating you received a stipend.)
Faculty: Please record scholarly service in Digital Measures for promotion and tenure.
