Join us for another Red Kettle Season! Bell Ringing is an important way to spread the love and holiday cheer, but also a reminder of the giving season. 

The purpose of our Red Kettle Campaign is to create awareness about The Salvation Army and how we support the most vulnerable in our community. When the community supports this campaign, we can continue serving those in need through our programs and services. Between our shelter, meal programs, shelter advocacy, case management, and more - we are able to show up for those who need us and provide hope for better days ahead. 

This is a fun event for your group, please feel free to wear your group apparel, play holiday music or wear Christmas outfit (think ugly sweaters) etc.

The Salvation Army of La Crosse County is looking for a tech savvy Computer Science or Marketing individual to assist with Social Media postings. Helping to create automated social media messaging sequences. Periodically meet with Salvation Army Development staff to discuss ongoing messaging campaigns.

The Thrift Store serves a dual role in our mission.  People in need can get vouchers to get the items that they need, whether it be clothes, shoes or items to help set up their new home.  When items sell to the public, that money goes back into our mission to feed and shelter individuals in need. 

Many hands make light work.  We get loads of donations in every single day at The Salvation Army Thrift Store.  We need lots of help to get through them and make them ready for the sales floor. Help sort and organize, clear out and reshelve items, clean, and hang out with a great staff team! Opportunities are flexible during these times, Monday–Friday, 9am-6pm or Saturday, 9am-5pm.

 You can choose your volunteer dates and times! After an approved application, you can volunteer whenever you'd like, no scheduling needed. Thanks for your help!

Our shelter meal program provides 3 meals a day to our residents in house, as well as a canteen window option for community members! Help us serve meals to our residents!

If you are interested in volunteering with our meal program, please sign up through our volunteer website!

Once you are an approved volunteer, you will be able to see available opportunities. Most opportunities fall on Fridays and Saturdays. Lunch is served from 11:30-12:30and dinner is served from 4:30-5:30!
