Great River Folk Festival

The Great River Folk Festival is a non-profit, volunteer, grass roots effort. Committee members and volunteers share a love of great music.  The festival is in its 42nd year.

The Great River Folk Festival is weekend event (August 26-28), featuring folk/bluegrass/americana/roots music and artists. The festival takes place annually in Riverside Park. Our goal so to bring world class music to our community.  We also feature a songwriting contest, giving talented musicians an opportunity to perform their original works.  We showcase regional artist, including sculpture, textiles, painting, etc.  Our children's area promotes early interest in folk music and art.
